Dear Friends and Families,
The Grove continues to follow current CDC and Riverside County Health Department guidelines regarding visitation and mask wearing during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, all healthcare facility employees, residents and visitors must wear facial masks while in the community. However, residents do not need to wear masks while alone in their rooms or in the dining room. Employees continue to be screened at the beginning of every shift and are required to stay home if they have any symptoms of illness. Any visitor coming into the community is required to be screened at the front desk. If for any reason, there is not a staff member at the front desk, please notify staff on the 3rd floor that you are visiting so that they can perform the necessary screening process.
Currently, 25% of non-vaccinated staff are required to be tested for COVID-19 each week. If any employee tests positive for COVID-19 we follow proper health department guidelines reporting and quarantining. We have not had any resident or employee test positive for COVID-19 for several months.
All residents, regardless of vaccination status, may go on outings and visits with families. Upon return, if any resident was exposed to COVID-19 the facility should be made aware of it immediately so that appropriate quarantine measures can be put in place.
All residents, regardless of vaccination status, may have indoor visits with families, friends or other healthcare workers so long as the visitor follows our current COVID-19 prevention measures which includes pre-screening and mask wearing. Please avoid visiting the facility if you’ve been recently exposed to COVIV-19 or are experiencing symptoms of illness.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding during this time.
Please call if you have any questions or concerns.
