Things To Do

If you were ever concerned about what you were going to do all day during your stay with us, you’re in for a surprise. You’ll see that there’s never a dull moment around here, and you can be as active and entertained as you choose!

Full-Time Activity Staff

Come Join The Fun

Our full-time activity staff provides many opportunities for residents to be engaged and entertained throughout each day. They lead cooking classes, offer exercise activities, and play games with groups of residents.

We also have lecturers and religious groups visit on a weekly basis to entertain, engage and enlighten.

In the two spacious common areas we have gigantic televisions for group sports and movie watching.  There you will find Netflix, 48 channels of DirecTV and a large selection of movies to suit every taste and interest.

Plenty to Do in the Neighborhood

Within two blocks of our front door sits the historic Mission Inn and all the shopping and restaurants that surround it.  We are close enough for you to pop in on your lunch break and take Mom or Dad out for a quick bite and be back to your day without missing a beat.

Twice a week on the next block over, a farmer’s market takes over the street with fresh vegetables and fruits, homemade bread and hummus, and wine from grapes grown here in southern California.

Local senior community centers, as well as activities that appeal to seniors like lawn bowling, museums, a library, and the Silver Swimmer Club, abound within a few blocks.  We drop off and pick up!

Weekly Social and Cultural Outings

Twice a week residents load into the van and head off to nearby shopping, casinos or parks.  Favorites stops include Tyler Mall, San Manuel Indian Casino, Costco and other shops in Moreno Valley, Fairmont Park in Riverside and local movie theaters.

Monthly Candlelight Dinners

Once a month we go all out to have a nice dinner for residents and their families.  The theme depends on the season and weather.  In February we lower the lights, bring in live entertainment and our chef cooks a fancy meal commemorating Valentine’s Day.  In June we load up the coolers and invite everyone out to the park to have a cook-out celebrating all the Dads!  We always invite family members to join us for these special days.

If you want to learn something new, we’re happy to teach you, and chances are, we’ll learn something from you, too. So if you have any special skills you’d like to share with us, we would love to incorporate them into our schedule – just let us know.
